Ferne cottons new make up range exclusily at boots!

Soo ferne seems to be doing everything these days,from presenting to her own show,from clothes and now make up! whats next,an album?!
But i have to give this girl credit,she is doing an amazing job,
I like to think of ferne as holly willoughby's rock chick twin sister!
But i really do love her!!
this is what holly had to say when she did a video for Boots.
"Its,such a exciting project!I started talking to boots about it 7 or 8 months ago But never dreamed of it becoming this big!!
Boots have given me full rain over everything,like how the packaging is going to be.
Then we spoke about the kind of make up i like & my friends and family wear,
I did ask alot of my friends & family about what kind of shades they like too!

i am so so chuffed with it,every little detail is perfect!
The packaging for me was one of the mail focuses,i really wanted to get it right and for it to be what i represent in my work,and what i would like to see in the shops & what i want to buy.
Theres alot of vintage floral prints & delecate skull it just sorts of freys through really nicely,
I really love skulls..like skully jewellry and stuff,but i didnt want it to appear too dark! i want it to be girly and nice to look at and its always quite subttle with my packaging!
We have got loads of different lip options as well as loads of different eye options
if your all about the eyes then there are great sets which are all about the eye make up,youve got mascaras in their youve got glitter gold shimmer which is great for going out to partys!
there is so much in my range i hope there is something for everyone!"

A New business revolution?

WOW! 2 posts in 2 weeks,i'm not doing it very weekly am i :(
its been a really busy week! ive been at my boyfriends most of the week so thats my excuse!
sooo what i wanted to talk about is a new business revolution:
FACEBOOK businesses!!!
soo theres alot of people who like doing a bit of crafts,
whether its jewelery,keepsake boxes,jewelled dummys,nappy cakes,door plaques...anything!!
soo i wanted to show you gus just a FEW of the hundreds of facebook pages there are out there!!
soo here goes!

The first person is Vintage princess jewellery! which was made by the lovely laura rutter!!
this page isn't just a business,its a community almost!
laura is a really lovely woman! she takes the time to talk to you!
laura has just about 250 items up for sale! all handmade! she really is one talented lady!
i have chosen to put pics up of 3 very different necklaces!
laura can do a vintage style necklace like fairest of them all!
or one for the ultimate fashionable lady! just like the beautiful Audrey Hepburn!
or a simple one just like necklace!
i ordered 3 necklaces off vintage princess and the packaging is just beautiful! she really takes her time with how she presents her business!

Next is a really lovely woman called Michelle!
Her business is called kitschy beady bobs jewellery & accessories!And her jewellery is as kitschy as her name!! as you can see from the piccies ^^
she does really random pieces of jewellery!But they all work!imagine going out with your friends with Bambi round your neck! its certainly a talking point!
i have 2 items off Michelle so far!
She is also a really lovely woman who i consider a trust worthy friend!
I have the poodle necklace(look at the pics! ^^) and a metal love letter necklace,both which i adore!!

New bedroom!

hey guys!!
so..ive half-done my bedroom!!
the bed looks awesome!! done the walls and half done the floor :)
most things in the pictures are from ikea..infact everything is!
the lampshade is £15 from ikea,they also do lamps in that range :)
oh and ive also bought myself an iphone 3gs 16gb which i LOVE!
soo yea..i really love my new room and i am so so happy with the choices i made :D!
please comment on weather you like it aswell?
i still don't have a wardrobe yet...or draws...but im getting there hehe!
i just can't find any i really like!
its so hard!!

New bedroom!

Hey guys
so,my brother(christopher)decided he wanted to move down stairs in to one of the box rooms! so i asked if i could have his room! and he agreed! woo! im so excited! its only 5 steps down the landing! haha! but its wayy bigger and i get to have a whole new bedroom! yay!
so here are some current pics of it!

so its not the biggest of rooms but its alot bigger than my current room!
soo excited! btw.my brother didn't have his bedroom like that haha!
i ripped up the carpets and painted the walls and half way painting the floors!:D
i am having a double bed in their.pics to come of that!
a corner desk and possible a corner wardrobe! :D

ELF 100 palette eyeshadow!

This is a gorgeous palette, so many different colors and decently sized! not tiny!, also as ELF do it,very inexpensive!. A lot of the eyeshadows are matte (compared to ELF 32 piece eyeshadow palette where a lot of the eyeshadows are shimmery and without glitter), they also apply and blend easily.
With this huge choice of the colors you'll be able to create any eye-look you want!
Now,me being me,there is a downside! and its only small! but the brushes for the palette are on the inside of the lid (look at pics!) and when i close it the brushes fall out! and end up squishing a colour! which crumbles it! which it super annoying!
and you guys will probably say..well don't put them in then! but i can't help it! i am quite finicky in that way!i have to have the right brushes for the right palette!
but anyway!

hey guys!
so just a quick blog about my top 10 must have things.
i am not naming brands i have just the items in general( as in..'lipgloss')
so here goes
1.baby wipes to wipe away any unfortunate accidents with make up! or spillages!
2.nail scissors,i nibble at my nails,so sometimes it hurts and i need my scissors to sort it,other wise i'm in pain for the rest of the day!It's also use full for if im buying something and once ive bought it i want to wear it,i need the scissors to take off the stupid tags!!
3.concealer,great to re cover up.or if you spot something you didn't spot before!?
i think its great to have a little tub/tube to have at hand!
4.hair grips! say the day is hotter than you though,just slide some hair grips in and you wont get as sweaty!
5.mini hair spray.say your hair looks a bit down and flat.just get out yourhairspray and its lovely all over again!
6.tissues.always good if you get your nose blocked up,or you spill something! and good for cleaning up your face!
7.perfume,great for is you think you smell a bit,or got a bit sweaty? or hugged a tramp??! hehe
8.headphones.perfect if your bored.just pop them on and let the musical world take you away! :)
9.book.a good book to sit down and read is a must have! always good to have a read! :)
10.paper & a pen!
always good if you see someone and need their number! or anything like that!

i LOVE the look of this and i am very tempted to but it! this is just one cushionface from the whole cushionface collection! they do have some amazing ones!

number 2. 'Pink Hippo desk Buddy'
These look adorable!sadly these don't have much of a description but i really want these,i think they are really small and would look cute on your desk (kinda ovb. :|) i think they are hand painted and made from polymerclay(don't quote me on that but i think so)but they are only £1.50,these will be sent gift wrapped in tissue paper.

number 3.Black Cubely Stool.oh my gosh....how adorable is this? i LOVE this! and its really cheap too! only £38 but that isn't including £7 p&p which is a bit excessive! but i wouldn't mind!this Cube shaped kids (or adults) upholstered stool Measures 35cm cubed (comfortable for either an adult or child to sit on!) and is Made from black PVC and has a zippered mouth with a pocket inside.i love the idea of a pocket inside! what a good idea! These fantasically retro notepads are made by recycling this old computer storage device, who'd have known floppy disks would make such wonderfully strong durable note book covers!A great geeky present, they currently come in yellow, black and grey! oh dear...im saying it again... Jelly pong pong,wake up make up.

Hi guys!
so,i bought the jelly pong pong wake up make up pallette!
So here we go!
Even though the eyebrow shades weren’t of much use to me I thought the face and eye brightener were amazing!.
The eye brightener isn’t extremely pigmented but it still manages to create a nice illusion of a well rested me!
A tiny touch is all I need to wake my eyes up and make them look nice and fresh.
I wouldn’t consider this a concealer so don’t expect it to hide away dark circles or other under eye woes however,
it does offer a slight brightening effect. This is great to use maybe after concealer or as a little touch up through
the day or when you are using minimal makeup. A little goes a long way as it does have a slight iridescent finish kinda
like Lorac Double Feature Concealer. The face brightener is equally as nice as it does create a nice freshness to my skin.
The result is very subtle,
nothing wow aspiring but I rather like how it makes my skin look fresher
particularly after a long day when I’m not wanting to redo all my makeup,
a little touch of this and I’m looking nice once again!

Overall,the palette is rather nice if you think you’d make proper use of everything in it.
For me it was a tad wasteful as I’m only really getting use from the face and eye brightener and possibly the tweezers.
Maybe if they did a palette with just the two creamy brighteners that would be worthy of a purchase from me!

sorry about the recent stop of blogging :(
sadly ive had to send my laptop back,so all saved images and things like that are gone :(,so i'm on my mum,i'm not use to this laptop,so bare with me :)So i went to the clothes show live birmingham & i got a helen E goody bag,ive never heard of this place before,so i was like,ooooh i want! haha!
so theres the foundtion & then the highlighter/concealer. i really like this as the foundation is alot like the dream matte mousse.the foundation adapts to your skin colour,its really good and you don't need a lot at all,ive used mine for 3 days running and it still looks unused!the concealer isn't so good and its too light for my skin :( but i really love this little duo! shame their isn't room for a brush or sponge though! but you win some you loose some ay! ;) <3>

ELF Kabuki Brush!

I purchased this brush for a number of reasons,
I love ELF brushes,they are AMAZINGLY priced!
they are synthetic hairs on the brush.
The kabuki brush cost £5.
If you join the facebook E.L.F fanpage then they can give you money off or free delivery,just scroll down the page for the latest special!
Also,if you have a problem the facebook page is usually more helpful than customer services!

A duo fibre brush made from synthetic, anti-bactrial Taklon.its soo soft!
The hairs are quite densely packed but being so soft I don't find this a very good brush for mineral things.
for strength i squeeze the brush together for good coverage of my face.

It doesn't have the strength for my method of mineral foundation,
so I've been using this brush for dusting loose powder over my face.It will also be good for bronzing/highlighting (i don't bronze my face)
and I think it's done a pretty good job.
Ideal for light application.It's great for applying a small covering of powder.
Also great for a tiny bit of powder highlighter to your cheek bones.especially since you can change the shape of the brush for really precise application.
So if your looking for a kabuki brush to dust a bit of highlighter or a bit of loose powder on your face this is great!
for mineral foundation i'll use my total face brush instead ;-)

ELF eyelid primer!

so,i had a bit of spare money and i decided to go for some E.l.f stuff!! scroll down the page to see the video i did!:)this eyelid primer is £1.50 from www.eyeslipsface.co.uk (uk one!) So,from the picture you can see it is a 'lip' wand,i don't like these i find them hard and irritating to the eyes,this oe wasn't too bad but still annoyed me,its a hate of mine,sorry!So apart from that,i really like it! it makes my eyeshadow stand out! i bought alot more,i will do review of them too if you like!its a very light colour and blends well but for people with dark skin this is useless!they don't have any other shades,apart from this one so its hard for darker skinned people!apart from that i really love it! i makes my eyes the way i want,either smokey,bright or natural!its amazing!

Dream matte mousse review!

I've recently bought the dream matte mousse from maybelline.this is my favourite foundation of all time! its it so soft and creamy,its also really light and it blends into your colour amazing well.its not thick either so you don't look like you have loads of it on,its around £7-£8.I do really like it,i usually use my finger to put it on as i find it easier.sometimes i use a brush and it looks flawless.it really is an amazing foundation.I rate it 4 stars out of 5 so far my favourite!

Its Jade!So I'm doing reviews! the first one is the makeup academy pressed powder,I have it in shade 3.Now,MUA are only available at super drug and all products from them are £1! yes that's right £1!It is also really popular!I do like this product,its lovely and soft and feels nice on your skin.the only thing i would say is that its quite heavy,to i cant really apply anything else apart from eye make up.Don't use too much otherwise it is quite uncomfortable.It does look good on & is really nice.only one flaw so not allot to grumble at!Bargain price!You can buy online but only at super drug.i think its a trial of how nice it is so i don't think its here for much longer!But i LOVE the whole range,next time I'm in town I'm taking the whole shelf!!
